3 Google Chrome Hacks You’ll Wish You Knew Sooner

Does your team use Google’s Chrome as a default browser?

Chrome is considered the gold standard for internet browsing in 2019.

In terms of security, Google’s really good at protecting against malicious attacks and they roll out bug fixes every couple of weeks.

But that’s not all.

Chrome offers some really cool features that make life easier, too.

So today, we’re sharing 3 of our favourite shortcuts for Chrome users.

1. The Land of 1,000 Tabs

This ones for the multi-taskers out there.

Did you know you can easily jump between tabs with just one keystroke?

From left to right, and up to 9 different tabs, Chrome gives each tab you’ve got open a different number.

To quickly jump to a third tab in your browser, simply press the Control button and the 3 button at the same time on a PC and Command and 3 on a Mac.

2. Undo Your Oops

Ever have something important open, but accidentally close the tab?

Rest at ease.

A simple Control + Shift + T on PC and Command + Shift + T on a Mac will re-open the tab that was closed last.

Go ahead, give it a try.

3. Keep the VIPs Up Front

Lastly – to keep all of those browser tabs organized, try pinning the tabs you reference most often for easy access?

To pin one of your browser tabs to the far left of your browser window, simply right click on the browser tab and click Pin Tab. This will also end up shrinking the tab so it takes up less real estate.

And there you have it.
